Hi, I'm Roz, the heart behind Positive Parenting Pathway. I'm passionate about supporting families navigating the complexities of raising neurodiverse children - especially when challenging behaviours arise.
If we work together you'll quickly see that I'm honest, friendly and compassionate. I believe that even in the toughest moments, a little bit of humour and a lot of understanding can go a long way. While I bring a calm and reliable approach to supporting families, I'm also a believer in keeping things real - parenting is messy, unpredictable and sometimes downright crazy, and that's okay!
With me, there will be no judgement, just genuine support, warmth, and a commitment to helping you face the challenges with confidence (and maybe even a few laughs along the way!)
Every child is unique, and so is every family. That's why I take a compassionate, empowering and inclusive approach, meeting you were you are right now and helping you create a positive, supportive environment where both you and your child can thrive.
My core values mean you will be met with kindness, empathy and understanding. Believe me when I say in know what it feels like to walk some of those harder pathways. I learnt that parenting isn't meant to be done alone so I will work alongside families, schools and professionals to create the best outcome for you child.
I want you to feel like you've been given tools, knowledge and confidence to advocate for you child and create a positive change for all involved.
With over a decade of experience working alongside children aged 4-11, I have dedicated my career to supporting young people and their families through the challenges of neurodiversity, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour management.
For six years, I worked as an Emotional Literacy support assistant. providing 1:1 interventions for children facing a range of difficulties, from self-esteem struggles to anxiety, self-harm, bereavement and suicidal ideation. In that time, I have supported over 3,600 children, tailoring my approach to their unique needs.
Beyond individual support, I have worked closely with families to navigate complex processes such as EHCP applications, navigating ASD diagnostic pathways and positive parenting techniques that create stability both at home and in school.
My professional knowledge is deeply rooted in personal experience. As a parent to neurodiverse twins, I have spent 18 years advocating for my own children - navigating ASD, Tourette's, mobility challenges, ADHD within my family, and the wider complexities of raising neurodiverse children in this ever changing modern world. I have walked this path, faced the hurdles, made the mistakes, and learned what truly makes a difference.
This combination of personal experience and professional training allows me to offer real, practical support - not just theory, but proven strategies that are science backed and work in the real world.
When I'm not supporting families, you'll often find me enjoying long walks, paddle boarding, playing football, building Lego sets, enjoying the night sky, creative art or doing my one of many puzzle books.
I help to train young women footballers, not only to be skilled in the sport but to have the mental stability to thrive in it. I absolutely adore this role and watching them flourish fills me with happiness that I can't explain.
I'm also a bit of an adrenaline junky and will give anything a try. I get very excited about new activities and come away with a sense of achievement no matter the outcome.
